              MODSOFT UPDATE INSTALLATION NOTES

 The software that you have just received from Field Service is 
 a Modsoft and LModsoft update diskette set. This software will update 
 your current version of Modsoft or Modsoft Lite.

 This installation will install over any previous Modsoft versions.

 If you place the Modsoft source disk in drive A:,
 the installation will look like this:

                          C:>A:UPDATE

 NOTE: Modsoft and LModsoft 2.11 and greater contains a new database scheme. 
       If you have older Modsoft or LModsoft files, these files will be 
       converted into the new database. After loading it into Modsoft 
       or LModsoft do a Save All to save the files in the new format. 

       This should also be done for all macros which may have been 
       created. Using the Macro editor, load the macro and then save 
       to the same name (not applicable to Modsoft Lite).

       If you attempt to load a program which has been saved in Modsoft
       or LModsoft 2.11 and greater you will not be able to load these files 
       into a previous version of the software. It is advisable to save all 
       program and macro files created from the previous release onto a 
       backup disk.
